Episode 02 - Richard Hicks

Episode 02 - Richard Hicks

Richard Hicks has been in casting since the early 90’s and has worked on a really broad range of movies. From Gravity, Zero Dark Thirty, and Curb Your Enthusiasm, to Charlie Bartlett, Lars and the Real Girl, Dude Where’s My Car?, 2008’s City of Ember (starring a very young Sairose Ronin), Real Steel, and Charlie's favorite movie of 2016, Hell or High Water.

This is a particularly great episode if you’re interested in the ins and outs of the casting process. Richard’s involvement with the CSA and his reflective nature comes with a lot of insight. We’ll find out what the CSA is tasked with, how you can get involved with casting, and one of the ways you could get the elusive Bill Murray in your movie. We’ll also delve into the world of actors’ superpowers.
